Our Collective Impact
The Benchley Weinberger Foundation is a 501 c (3) non-profit organization whose objective is to raise funds to support activities, enrichment, projects, and programs for the benefit of the students of the Benchley-Weinberger campus.
2022-2023 Income
Our income comes from a variety of sources, including individual donations, grants, and corporate donors. Learn more about where our funding comes from and the impact it has on the work we do.
Our signature events, Gala and Auction and the Fun Run (formerly known as the Jog-A-Thon), are fundraiser events chaired and led entirely by parent volunteers. We welcome all parents to come to the monthly Foundation meetings to find out how you can help support these events.
2022-2023 Expenditures
We believe that these projects will have a lasting impact on the students we serve. Check out our recent projects below and see how we’re making a difference.
Our biggest expense of the 2022-2023 fiscal year was the first phase of the turf installation, followed by our on-campus programs. The Foundation funded the Art Reach Program as well as a the reading interventionist. In addition, we also funded various school technology and resources, enrichment for students (including buses for field trips), and other school supplies (including supplemental materials for PE and the Health Office).
We already have big plans for this year, including the second phase of our turf installation, as well as added lunch supervision support to make sure all of our Pandas are safe and well cared for.
We could not do any of this without support from the Benchley-Weinberger Foundation volunteers, parents, staff, and community. We appreciate everyone's contribution - whether that be time, effort, money or kinds words. Thank you!
