5th Grade Committee

The Fifth Grade Committee helps make our students’ final year at Benchley-Weinberger one they will always remember. Led by fifth-grade families and supported by parent volunteers, the committee plans special activities, traditions, and celebrations that bring the class together throughout the year.

The committee also organizes fundraisers such as bake sales, Friday Otter Pop sales, and the Halloween Happening haunted house. Funds raised help support fifth-grade experiences and end-of-year activities, including field trips, celebrations, yearbook traditions, and other memorable moments for the graduating class.

There are plenty of ways to participate, whether you want to join the committee, lead an activity, work a sales shift, help with an event, donate supplies, or pitch in behind the scenes. Families can volunteer as much or as little as their schedules allow.

Together, we can give our fifth graders a fun, meaningful send-off as they prepare for their next big adventure.
